The facts on SPOT
The SPOT collection consists of 2 parts: the glass jars and the prints. The jars comprise an unstable collection that grows and changes as the lacquer and varnish residues weather. The jar collection remains the property of the artist but is exhibited from time to time alongside the prints. The prints are printed on 300-gram acid-free etching paper in two formats: 119 x 89 cm and 44 x 33.5 cm. The large works can be purchased individually. The small prints are sold as a set in a handmade box.
The first ‘Spot in a Box’ contains 11 prints (2001) and a sheet of text. Both the separate prints and the box are produced as a numbered edition. Each print and box is numbered and signed.

De SPOT collectie bestaat uit twee delen: de glazen potten en de prints. De potten vormen een niet-stabiele verzameling die groeit en verandert, ook de resten lak en lijm zijn niet stabiel. De pottencollectie blijft eigendom van de kunstenaar, maar wordt af en toe tentoongesteld als aanvulling op de prints. Deze worden gedrukt op 300-grams zuurvrij etspapier in twee maten: 119 x 89 cm en 44 x 33.5 cm. De grote werken hoeven niet als serie gekocht te worden. De kleine prints worden als set in een handgemaakte box verkocht.
De eerste ‘Spot in a Box’ bestaat uit 11 prints (2001) en een blad met tekst. Zowel de afzonderlijk te verkopen prenten als de serie in de box kennen een gelimiteerde editie. Elke print en box is genummerd en gesigneerd.
